On 23rd JULY The Professor was arrested by Cambridge cops on a 'disorderly conduct' rap whick was quickly dropped by prosecutors.

Gates's neighbor, Lucia Whalen, spotted what she believed to be "two black males with backpacks" trying to force entry into the Professor's home and quiet righlty called the cops.

President Barack Obama condemned the Cambridge cops for acting "stupidly" adding even more controversy and thunder to the already stormy situation.
